Basic Info on oral health

  1. Teaching children about oral health care early is a vital part of our treatment. The recommendation by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry is to visit the dentist approximately 6 months after the eruption of their first teeth. So, start your child early!

  2. Prevention is better than Cure!! Oral care is shifting towards prevention of cavities. Adequate Fluoride exposure, proper brushing technique and sealants are some of the ways to prevent dental decay.

  3. Regular dental visit every six months is important to ensure that cavities are detected early. When cavities are treated early, you save more of the tooth structure, treatment is predictable and your child has a better experience!
